Compensation

In line with our mission and values, Benedictine is committed to a total compensation system that supports a just and living wage for our associates that is designed to attract and retain superior talent.

  • Sign-on Bonuses | New Associates may qualify for sign-on bonus based on market and budgetary conditions.
  • Referral Award Program | Associate may qualify for a bonus for referring a qualified Associate.
  • Premium Weekend Block Pay | Associates who accept a “Weekend Block Assignment” will work 12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday for five (5) of six (6) consecutive weeks.
  • Weekend Pick-up Shift Incentive | Associates who pick up open weekend shifts that are not part of their normal assigned schedule, may be eligible for a “Weekend Shift Pick-up Incentive” for each shift they pick up.
  • Shift Differential | Associate can receive additional pay for working non-traditional shifts.

Paid Time Off

  • Benedictine recognizes that time away from work is essential in maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
  • Benedictine provides paid time off (PTO) from work to full and part-time permanent associates to compensate for absences

Cash-Out Program

  • Benedictine offers voluntary cash out option of earned PTO
  • Benedictine allows associates to contribute PTO to the Benedictine Foundation or a community foundation of their choice.

Tuition Reimbursement

Benedictine provides monetary awards to associates at $5,200 per calendar year.

Loan repayment is available for associates who have incurred loans in achieving a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) degree.

Through the Educational Assistance Program, Benedictine hopes to provide opportunities for our Associates to complete courses of study that will lead to career advancement within the Benedictine community or in long-term care.
