Several Wisconsin organizations adopt new names to reflect new BHS affiliation

To better represent a new affiliation with the Benedictine Health System and its vision for the future, organizations under what formerly was known as Catholic Residential Services, based in La Crosse, Wis., will adopt a new name for its campuses and facilities.
Effective March 26, the following changes will be made:
- Catholic Residential Services will now be Benedictine Living Community of Wisconsin.
- The Arcadia Nursing Home campus, in Arcadia, Wis., will be known as the Benedictine Living Community of Arcadia. Arcadia Nursing Home will become Benedictine Manor of Arcadia.
- The campus of St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation Center and MeadowWood Assisted Living, La Crosse, will be known as Benedictine Living Community of La Crosse. Individually, St. Joseph’s will be Benedictine Manor and MeadowWood will be known as Benedictine Villa.
- The Marywood Center campus, Wausau, Wis., will become Benedictine Living Community of Wausau, skilled nursing services will be known as Benedictine Manor and the short-stay rehabilitation center will be Benedictine Wellness Center.
“We are excited about our new campus and facility names,” said Jim Gajewski, president, Benedictine Living Community of Wisconsin. “As a part of the Benedictine Health System, we have access to resources and knowledge to help us enhance the quality of our care. As Benedictine Living Communities, we hope to communicate that we intend to offer a continuum of quality care that is strongly rooted in the Benedictine tradition of serving those in need.”
The former Catholic Residential Services and it campuses in Wausau and La Crosse joined BHS Oct. 1, while the Arcadia campus joined Jan. 1.
Benedictine Manor of Arcadia offers skilled nursing, short term and respite care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. Benedictine Manor of La Crosse offers skilled nursing, short term and respite care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. Benedictine Villa of La Crosse offers a wide variety of services to assist an individual in maintaining an independent lifestyle. Benedictine Manor of Wausau offers skilled nursing, while its Wellness Center offers short-term and outpatient rehabilitation.
